Hi, Welcome to my webpage and thanks for dropping by.It’s July and the heat is on.
I’m
in beautiful South Africa for the first ten days, at The
Grahamstown Festival and then Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
On
returning catch me at The London Literature Festival and
the Manchester International Festival. You can see a full listing of

The events at The London literature festival are part of my new programming strand Access All Areas.
This month sees the launch of Global Poetry System. GPS is a means of putting poetry on the map.
I’ll
be live on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live at 9am on 18th July and shall
wrap the month up on 24th at The Queen Elizabeth Hall reading “Music is
My Mistress” by Duke Ellington for the talented young composer arranger
and player Peter Edwards.
The entry deadline for The Foyles young poetry prize comes to an end by 31st so get your work sent in to The Poetry Society
