Hey it’s May, the month of my birthday. I shall celebrate in South Africa at Badilisha Poetry Festival.
Later
on in the month I’ll be in Bracknell, Bath and The Hay
Literary Festival. See the readings page for details. There’s a
closed event with Nobel Laureates which should be kinda exciting.
And
There’s a couple of things I want to flag up for you, particularly the
London Literature Festival where I’ll be showing my documentary film
Internal flight and for one night only at The Udderbelly my one man
play Why I Don’t Hate White People. Both of these are in July.
Alongside
Jacqueline Wilson I am patron of The Letterbox Club and gave the
keynote speech at The Booktrust conference this month. The
booktrust administrate The letterbox Club. You can hear the
