I’ll be mostly reading forty  books for the John Lewellyn Rhys prize. The judging panel is chaired by the wonderful novelist  Courtia Newland.  Just read “ On Beauty”  by Zadie Smith. The  GFs’  book My Fathers Daughter is on the same list.   I won't say if you won't. They share the same editor in Simon Prosser at hamish and Hamilton.

A lot of people have said that my BLOG had problems in that you couldn’t leave a comment without signing up. That is no longer the case so if you  view my blog click on the comment bit and  then click on post a comment and Hey Presto. It’s all good.
